1. Agreement

These Terms govern your access to and use of the UnitPulse website, web app, and browser extension (together, the “Service”). By creating an account or using the Service, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

2. What UnitPulse is — and isn’t

UnitPulse provides an informational authenticity score and supporting evidence about job postings. Scores reflect likelihood based on publicly available signals; they are not statements of fact about any company or person, not a guarantee, and not professional, legal, or financial advice.

You are responsible for your own decisions. Always use your own judgment before applying to a role, contacting a poster, or engaging a company.

3. Your account

• You must provide accurate information and keep your credentials secure.
• You’re responsible for activity under your account.
• You must be old enough to form a binding contract in your jurisdiction.

4. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

• Resell, scrape, or bulk-export the Service or its outputs without written permission.
• Use the Service to harass, defame, or unlawfully target any person or company.
• Attempt to disrupt, reverse-engineer, or circumvent the Service’s security or usage limits.
• Violate any platform’s terms (including LinkedIn, Upwork, or Indeed) while using the extension.

5. Plans, billing, and credits

• Paid plans and add-ons are billed in advance on a monthly or annual basis.
• Analysis allowances reset each billing period and do not roll over unless stated.
• You can change or cancel your plan at any time; changes take effect per the plan terms shown at checkout.
• Except where required by law, payments are non-refundable. See Pricing for current details.

6. Intellectual property

The Service, including its software, scoring methodology, and content, is owned by UnitPulse and protected by law. We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable right to use the Service under these Terms. You retain rights to the content you submit.

7. Disclaimers

The Service is provided “as is” and “as available,” without warranties of any kind, express or implied. We do not warrant that scores will be accurate, complete, or uninterrupted.

8. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, UnitPulse will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, or for any loss arising from your reliance on a score or your decision to apply to, engage, or avoid any job, poster, or company.

9. Termination

You may stop using the Service at any time. We may suspend or terminate access if you breach these Terms or use the Service in a way that risks harm to others or to the Service.

10. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. If we make material changes, we’ll update the date above and, where appropriate, notify you. Continued use after changes means you accept the updated Terms.
